Volkmann CT with
eco technology

New Volkmann CT with eco technology sets new standards in twisting staple fibres

With the new eco drive concept and the new eco spindle, the existing e-save spindle family is perfectly supplemented and even taking into account very fine yarn counts, customers save up to 40% energy cost. A new concept for take-up geometry produces best yarn and package evenness. Process handling is designed to a new dimension of efficiency and takes into account central setting, formula administration, quality control, length measurement and other optional parameters. The simplest operation and absolute safety are integrated.

The Volkmann CT with its modular construction covers all raw material and yarn count ranges and through high yarn and package qualities provides the precondition for the highest value creation over the whole production spectrum.

Volkmann Heat-SET

Volkmann Heat-SET shortens the carpet yarn process

BCF carpet yarns are thermally heated after cabling for form stabilization, in other words, heat-set. With a new process, Volkmann has now integrated this additional step of procedure into a joint machine concept, i.e. cabling, heat-setting and winding all in one process run. The gain for our customers is: there is no longer an interim storage or treatment necessary and thus processing costs are clearly reduced and a considerable contribution is made to economic efficiency in the faster implementation of orders, shorter processing runs and higher plant utilization.

Energy-saving miracle Allma CC4 now in the introduction phase

The launch of the Allma CC4 in the tire cord cabling market has begun with great promise and accordingly the comments from customers are positive. Depending on yarn count and spindle type the Allma CC4 enables energy savings of up to 50%. For producers these are revolutionary savings in production costs. The heat load in the productions workshops is thus also reduced by up to 50%. Further advantages of this award-winning cabling machine include up to 50% fewer thread breaks and a considerably reduced noise level. The future-oriented technology of the Allma CC4 is also confirmed by the awarding of the “Tire Technology Award for Innovation and Excellence 2011” in the category “Tire Industry Supplier of the Year” on the occasion of this year’s Tire Technology Expo in Cologne.
