- Direct cabling is a one-stage process. Primarily, untwisted BCF yarn (Bulked Continuous Filament) is fed, with the single filaments lying parallel to each other.
- The parallel arrangement of the fibers offers excellent covering capacity and therefore material saving for larger surface floor cover constructions.
- Cabling assures that the yarn retains its volume.
- After cabling, tufting yarns are usually submitted to a heatsetting process. This, together with the yarn structure obtained through cabling, produces excellent tip definition, such crush resistant properties and recuperactive capacity after being weighted down.
