This process is a direct fancy twisting process with medium production speeds. This working principle has been realized in our fancy twister Fascinator. The first twist is obtained via computer-controlled feed rollers and drafting assemblies. The first operation is directly followed by the ring twisting process where the effect formed in the first operation is bound and the twists are loosened due to the relative speed between first and second production stage. When the inner basic and effect threads are twisted e.g. in S-direction, the outer binder thread is twisted in Z-direction (or vice versa). Thus you obtain a soft, voluminous and balanced fancy yarn with the same features as produced in a multistage fancy twisting process. Depending on the type of effect, hollow spindle speeds of up to 18,000 rpm and ring spindle speeds of up to 7,000 rpm are possible. The final cop will have to be rewound before being sold. |
