3-ply tire cord on Allma CC3

3-ply cord can be manufactured in ring twisting, cabling and two-for-one twisting processes. The latter process features decisive assets: flexibility, quality and cost-effectiveness are convincing arguments.
The new Allma CC3 combines the processes of cabling and two-for-one twisting in an intelligent way. Symmetrical 2-ply tire cord constructions are, as usual, economically cabled in top quality. Single and 3-ply constructions are very efficiently twisted according to the two-for-one twisting principle and used in high-quality tire cord fabrics.
In the two-for-one twisting process, initial twist and final twist are manufactured independently from each other in two stages, resulting in large and high-quality twist packages having long running times in follow-up processes. In addition, essential features are the flexible adjustment of the twist construction as well as the efficiency with higher delivery speeds. This is reflected in tangible cost advantages of up to 40%.
