14.07.2009 Saurer Museum - a piece of history
The Saurer Museum in Arbon has for years been an attraction to people from all over the world who are interested in history and technology. To date, visitors to the museum have been able to marvel at a range of Saurer commercial vehicles and motors. To celebrate the 150-year anniversary the Jubilee foundation has decided to extend the museum to include embroidery and weaving machines, thus uniting in a single exhibition the three Saurer divisions that have enjoyed success for generations. In order to present all exhibits at their best, the museum will relocate to the former Saurer works on the lake front. The 1,500 m2 Saurer Museum will be opened on 1 May 2010 with a major celebration. So when you next come to Arbon, don't miss the new Saurer Museum!
